Installment Agreements
IRS will allow you to pay your tax liability in monthly payments that are not always reasonable. IRS will try to get you to set up an Installment Agreement for the largest amount that they can get you to agree to. I have often seen instances where individuals have set themselves up on Installment Agreements that were impossible for them to keep They were intimidated and felt they had to agree whether it was feasible or not and thus ending up with a defaulted Installment Agreement and levies.
